Question How to make all that money..

Hey guys.. I have a question here..

How to get a lot of money from adsense like lots of people do.. I see people getting $xxx or $xxxx.

I want a piece of the cake too I need to rent a game server for my community and I kind of hope adsense can do it for us..

Any ideas people?

the link is in my sig..

Right now I have no money at all that is available so i'm looking for some solution that doesn't require me to pay for it if possible..

Thanks in advance,
George.

Start the from the bottom and not the top. Have more than one unique site. Also don't concentrate on the $$$$

looking at rougecase.com ( bear in mind that i have no idea what blood box gaming even means), the first things that stand out to me as problematic:

1. The adsense ads on the homepage are for religious sites, I don't see how that's relevant to your site or why your members would click on it.

2. This may be because your meta title is very short and non descriptive

3. The forums are locked until you register. Why not open them up so that google can index all your content?

4. You do not appear to have any backlinks - I would recommend at least submitting to as many directories as possible, software like digixmas makes this very quick to do.
Even the "link" in your sig is not a link!

5. Do you know if there are any SEO mods for SMF?, if so, it's probably worth trying them out once you open up your forum for indexing.

6. Your site does not fit on my 1024x768 screen, which may put off many visitors

7. Your domain is "rougecase", but your site is called "blood box gaming", this does not make sense to me?

Rouge Case = Red Case = Blood Box. I didn't have any money to get another domain so I got a little bit creative with it.

I have no idea why there are religious ads on the forum. But I also don't know how to change the meta keywords

I downloaded that submitter program, I have SMF SEO mods, and I don't know how to change the resolution..

Pick a niche product or service. One with advertisers but not many google results.
Build some unique content around it.
Work on the SEO and getting back link.

Follow those steps and eventually you'll start making money with adsense.

I do not want to make any new sites because
A. I have no money for domains nor anything.
B. I want to build up my current site.

I have about 9 other domains but they are for cell phones and beauty products. I don't know anything about those topics and I don't really care about them.

Oh yes and how to get rid of those annoying religious ads on Blood Box?

it's been a long time since i setup an SMF forum, so I don't remember how to change the title. but it's things like the title which have an influence on the content of the adsense ads. try to get the "gaming" keyword onto your pages as much as possible.

a very basic thing you could do is edit your namepros signature to be:

URL=http://www.rougecase.com]Gaming Forum and Gamer Community[/URL

( put square brackets [ at the beginning and the end as well ] )

Looking at the number of posts you have, this would instantly give you over 100 backlinks with relevant link anchor keywords.

again, i don't know much about the gaming community, but if there are other gaming forums which let you link to your forum, then you could join those forums and put a similar link in your signature, getting you more relevant backlinks, and at the same time let others know about your forum.

once you have a lot of backlinks, and a lot of traffic, you can then get into the nitty gritty of optimizing your ad placement e.t.c, but first comes the horse, then the cart

Traffic+traffic+more traffic=adsense success. To get reams of traffic takes a quality website, seo work and time.

If you are getting ads you don't want on your website block them through your adsense control panel - "Competitive Ad Filter" via the setup tab.

Show Patience.

You should show patience to make money online. Nobody can make thousands of dollars overnight. Some ads or persons may mention of making money overnight. That is to cheat you. You work systematicaly. Your site should get comfortable click throughs. Then automatically your site will generate dollars. This will take time.

Do what youīre good at. Use many pictures on the pages though not too many. Give them good names like blue-metallic-car.jpg and put the same text in the alt tag (html).
Donīt use too complicated css or scripts. Use the headers, only one h1 and several h2 and h3 in a logical way. Make the title of the page equal to h1.
Use hyphens in folder/file names. Use folders instead of file names since (unverified..) google probably indexes sites with folders and the correlating index.html faster, to older info. Choose keywords in the text properly and <b> bold some of them. Put links in the text that makes new pages rather than leaving your site ( target="_blank" etc..) .
Register some blogs that are free unless you already have. Blogspot etc. Be active on other's blogs. Get a little involved in other's articles and write, be kind, polite and funny, if you can. Few people want to vist a site belonging to a pessimist! Leave a link to your page. Use keyworddiscovery.com for free, to find related keywords. Use onelook.com to to get a lot of ideas.

Try some different designs. Donīt use too strong colors even though a few, even me can like that sometimes. The majority have a boring taste except for female teens and some women, maybe. Go for white and grey, dark blue in different shades, just a little colors here and there. Study some of the big sites. Put a contact info on your site(s).

No "rule" should dominate over your style though. If you do things logically and for the readers it should work.
