They will either Click the X button, The back button, or Hit an Ad and never see your site again. Also it is against their TOS to have the site just for the ads. That is what I was trying to say earlier but indirectly
No problem at all. At least you understand that you will need some unique content. My suggestion to you and others is to not concentrate on the "ads" them self but on something you have a passion about. After you have a nice following of readers it will just grow form there and the revenue will grow as well. You can sell Ad's on your site for a set amount etc.. Work on your site then worry about the ads. Don't put the buggy before the horse cause if you do you wont go any where Get a nice plan together then duplicate it. Best of luck
Thanks Happy, ive made some major changes, including the design concept, i think it looks a little better. I have added some actual content also, so ....its a start
Yes starting to look a lot better. Just a suggestion or a question... do those Godaddy ads have to be at the top... I think it takes away form your main page.. over all looking a lot better. Now start thinking about your SEO need some meta tags and put some more thought and words in your title of your site...
1) domain name probably does not bring any type-ins
2) the site provides no information beyond what parked pages do. there is no special reason for anyone to come to the site. see for instance the parked page Politically.com - it's more attractive than your site because it's neatly laid out. Furthermore, the owner of politically.com does not have to do any actual work. parked pages work if they have type-in traffic. see point No 1)
3) You should check your logo spelling: it says Politiacal Planet
4) If you do make a website, make sure you cater for the IE users. They are still (unfortunately) the majority - besides, IE users are more likely to click your ads because the less Internet-savvy the users are, the more they use IE and the less they are banner-blind
5) The Godaddy banner will be removed only if you pay for the hosting
To be frank, I suggest either you revamp the website, make it look neat, get some really attractive content in there (=hard work), or just forget about it and consider it a lesson learned. You may just be wasting your time with it.
Sorry if that sounded harsh, I'm just hoping to save you some trouble. I've made all the mistakes, I'm trying to share my (modest) knowledge to help you avoid the same mistakes.
Good luck

1. Im not to concerned about type-ins, as i will be advertising the site quite a bit, im more worried about SERP.
2. I honestly find Politically.com a bit boring and dead, but it is neatly laid out i guess.
3. I noticed the logo typo yestersday and has since been changed, thanks.
4 & 5. I believe for the most part it is IE friendly, other than the godaddy banner knocking the site to the right. I will have it removed soon, just dont have the cash now, spending all the cash on Christmas.
I will work on the site more, its a gradual process, im still learnig about site design. As i am inspired and as i notice common styles i will update, im not completely happy with the current, layout, but you should have seen the first one.
THe problem with such intros though - if you want to climb in SERPs, you can't have that sort of thing. You've gotta have relevant content on the first (landing) page. Maybe integrate the intro in some other manner?
