Way to track clicks?

I remember reading about a method/program that you can use to track adsense clicks. Can't remember which forums I read this in but I sure wish I bookmarked it. Anyway, can anyone help me out?

There was a program called AdLogger but it is not working anymore after changes in Adsense TOS. Not sure what way to do it now..

AdLogger was the only way. Now there aren't anything which let us to trace where clicks came from. I just can't think why Google wouldn't make a tool and let publishers to use so we can monitor our clicks and remove any fishy clicks.

They're probably afraid that, like all things meant for a noble purpose, things like this Adlogger program will be used in a negative, possibly illegal, way.
