Getting to 5,000 visitors per day
How would you suggest bringing a website with AdSense to 5,000 visitors per day without spending money, or at least without spending a lot of money?

Do you think it would be possible to get there with just using forum posting, article marketing, and blog commenting? Is there any better ways to market a content website for free?

Social bookmarking sites are very popular now a days. I have received thousands of visitors in one day by submitting to such sites but such traffic doesn't convert so well and also lasts for few days only.

based on your posting, you're going about this the wrong way. if you really want to reach that volume of traffic, you need to first focus on the quality of your website. after all that is done, then go about with marketing and advertising.

google puts you in the sandbox for small thing like not right link type or if you get traffic from a system like instantbuzz, but with the last one it is more probable you will also get banned from adsense.

I see where you are coming from now thought you meant just receiving traffic from i.e. search engines, links etc.. he was going to get black holed..
