Adsense - avoid "Hit and miss" clicks
Hot off Google's Adsense blog, some new things to avoid in your ad placement.
Since "accidental clicks" are undesirable to advertisers, Google is now warning publishers against placing your ads:
Quote:
"- In close proximity to Macromedia Flash games
- Under pop-ups or download prompts
- Near site navigation controls on your pages, such as drop-downs or menu links"
Basically, anywhere where the visitor could click on the ad unintentionally while intending to click something else is A Bad Place.

In the future they'll probably require large, red flahing arrows next to the ads and massive text that says "This is an ad. Do not click."
Oh wait, that'd be images next to ads

if they keep adding stuff of " does and dont's", there will be no need for adsense at all, they are the judge, jury and executioner, they wont listen to anyone, i think thier main problem is, conversion rates in sales, to click ratio, we can run thier ads, but we can't make people buy the stuff offered by the advertiser, i wont be using them much longer i doubt.

hopefully yahoo will begin to really eat up the us market share and/or open its doors worldwide and make adsense less ridiculous for people with websites.
