The side ads are fine but I think that the ads in between the steps can be improved or removed.
Users do not normally click on links when they are half way through the tutorials
Therefore, either place this units at the beginning or at the end of the steps. Alternatively, I believe that you should not blend your ads if you are inserting in between your ads, instead, make them stand out so that users may click on them if they are not looking for your tutorial.
Lastly, the most important point.. your ads are not targeted..This is the main reason why its not performing. Try to shorten your META keywords and try to include keywords like
tutorials in your titles or headers.
