Adsense showing wrong ads.

I recently created a new site (see signature) which is getting decent traffic (>20 uniques per day) The problem is the google ads are not showing the correct terms which should be "sudoku". This is obviously having a big effect on my clicks, which are next to nothing.

Is there anything i can do to change this?

mediaspree is an unknown quantity at this point

hmmm, i did a search for "Sudoku" on google at 8:30 EST and there were no advertisers showing for that word. Prehaps the advertisers budgets "run out" before you see them or maybe there are no advertisers for the keyword "Sudoku"?

Alternatively, it may take some time for Adsense to truly grasp the contents of your page. How long has the site been up?

Like he said, it will take time to get adsense to display ads according to your site's content. As soon as the google bots crawl your website, your ads should change.

You can "force" a re-crawl or new one by changing the default file to .shtml insteal of .html or opposite.

It's only been up for a couple of weeks. The ads seem to centre on "spelling", which i'm sure isn't a particularly high earner!

Allan, how would i 'force' a recrawl if my index file is index.php?

Sometimes the target system in G is an ornery critter. Sometimes it takes it a few times to settle, sometimes it does it instantly, sometimes it never finds a good match. One thing to do is play with the text in the body and metas to the word puzzle which will probably net you a better keyword. Since Soduko has no advertisers, it tries to find something else of interest. It seems to be targetting the word mis-spellings on the bottom of the page. At elast puzzle will be relevant, though not specific...
