I am currently using FTP Commander. I like FTP Commander but it doesn't have the capability to CHMOD files I have to go all the way into cPanel > File Manager just to CHMOD a file

If it said that your trial is up then it is a trial.. the thing i hate about trials is that they constantly put popups asking you to register each time you start the program and it will eventually come to the point when you won't even be able to open the program.
If you have Windows XP, there is a free FTP program on your computer! Let me know if you would like me to explain how to set it up and where it is located.
Why don't people just use the IE ftp? I've used most of these listed here in this thread, but none seem easy simple and easy to use as just going ftp://whatever.com and uploading via that way.
When you have dozens or hundreds of domains to manage, a separate FTP program makes it a lot easier because it stores all the settings for each domain (username, passwords, host, etc.) You also have more functions at your fingertips. And you can view files on your computer on one side, files on the server on the other and drag & drop easily. Many reasons :-)

hmm.. true about the files box showing instead of dragging into the ftp:// window...
but... the passwords/login info stores on my pc... why doesnt it for you? Have you tried clicking the box "remember user/pass"??? I have .. uhh.. bout 100 sites still and it remembers them all..
ws_ftp by far has been my favorite. Thing is, it's hard to get ws_ftpLE anymore, and the new versions aren't quite as good. Search for the old le variation, you won't regret it.
