www.spymac.com gives 1 gb Of email space(They were the first to provide this before gmail).
Confirmation email takes 3 days to arrive.

i got confirmation mail in 2-3seconds.
and ofcourse there is onemore site offering free email with 1GB space,
the wellknown google's gmail.com
but its in beta version now,
iam eagirly waiting for it.

i have not yet started to use their service actively. So i cant comment on their effectiveness

well, I do get emails, but after HOURS after sending them lol.. very slow
