| NamePros Regular | spider map thing didn't work for my site. complained about not putting in "just the domain"... I had put in "http://www.dynaweather.com/index.cgi" (no quotes) and even another more direct version of that as index.cgi can be tossed around by rewrite rules. Are cgi's not allowed? |

| New Member | There are 2 issues here: The way the script is written, you must specify your starting page along with your domain name so just entering "http://www.dynaweather.com/" won't work. The script has a list of "acceptable" extensions of files to parse for links, '.cgi' is not on that list so any file with that extension is ignored. These are compromises I made in writing the program, it isn't perfect but seem to work OK for most sites. Bob Quote:
