What is your favorite domain name pricing model?

We are interested in community feedback on registrar pricing models. Price is an important consideration for choosing your registrar, all though there are many other considerations, like TLD portfolio and API.

In regards to pricing, what do you prefer:

Prepaid deposits, lower prices when registration or deposit volume grows
No prepaid deposits, pay as you register, slightly higher prices per domain
Onetime Setup Fee, pay a onetime fee for lower prices on domain registration
Small yearly Fee, pay yearly for instant lower prices

Please choose and comment on your choice. Please tell us what kind of user you are (domainer, hoster, corporation) and what volume you have.

I would go for option 2 as well, I do not like to be tied up to any company in particular.

#2 is the best.

PS: Pre-paid credits is the worse thing you can do - people hate it.

Even though the domain price is slightly higher per domain but it has No prepaid deposits,so i choose to go with option #2.
