The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a remarkable, interactive weekend Walk that raises critical dollars to provide access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. The Walk provides the opportunity for all participants to make a tangible commitment toward eradicating breast cancer while also increasing critical awareness of this deadly disease.

This walk is being held May 5th and 6th in Washington DC.

As you will see, the link takes you to a specific "Walkers" donation page (which is secure by the way). This walker happens to be a friend of mine that is participating in the walk. Simply put, she has a goal she has committed to reaching in total donations, and I am assisting her in meeting this goal, with your help. Her Name is Nora, and she is a active member in the community where we live... from working as a vet tech and helping to save animals, to helping Hurricane Katrina Victims, pets, to various other civil duties and contributions.
