Hi fellow NP members,

I started this site earlier in November that I'm sure you will find quite interesting: KingOfTheBill.com

The concept is simple. Ads are sold starting at $1. Each additional ad costs just $1 more than the previous. It's advertising meets "King of the Hill," hence the name "King of the Bill."

It has grown steadily since the beginning, but just lately it has started to explode. Traffic is going through the roof and so are sales. Several of my advertisers have told me that they are loving the idea and that they are glad they got involved!

My goal from the beginning of this site was to take a novel idea and then become sort of the "MillionDollarHomePage" of 2006. So far I don't think the site is too far off course.

I am doing everything I can to get the word out, and will soon be sending out some press releases to all of the major news outlets.

Of course if you want a free link, just blog about or link to KOTB and your website will automatically be listed HERE !

I just want to tell everyone that I have bought 2 spots so far in the last three weeks, and I have to say that the traffic I have received is far worth the money I paid to have the spot, sure there was a bit more traffic when I was the " king of the bill " , but what is nice about the website is that you get a PERMANENT link on the home page as well.

I have seen many people waste hundreds of dollars on ppc, and not get the results I am getting to my sites for what I paid.

I used the King of the bill to promote my Win $50 Arcade contest

The king also has a great link trading system, where you can simply just ad an iframe to your website and you will be added to the top Referrals list , which has also been very kind to be and brought me some nice traffic.

I can personally recommend this website for a great way to get a boost in traffic to your website.

Also lately the website has had 250+ on the site at all times and that number is growing by the day.

So..if you are not ready to advertise yet ..at least bookmark it and watch the site grow

It's getting over 1,000 uniques a day now, and the top banner is being seen currently on the following websites:

Here's an interesting update...

A few hours ago I purchased the TOP FAR LEFT 10x10 block of pixels (the corner spot) on Alex Tew's NEW site www.pixelotto.com, see this thread for details: http://www.namepros.com/the-break-ro...pixelotto.html

That should bring some nice traffic as well... After all, everybody clicks the top left spot..

I bought another 30x30 spot for KingOfTheBill.com. Now I've spent more in advertising than I've made, and I'll spend even more if I have to.

I'm not out to make a quick free buck without any work on my part. Instead I'm out to make sure the advertisers on KOTB get a solid return on their investment.

Every ad purchased will help promote the site as a whole. I don't plan on taking a cut of the money until later on.

So buy a spot today! I'm going to be promoting it more and more.

I'm also experimenting with the layout a bit. As you can see on www.kingofthebill.com the past few banners are now showing to give you a little more "air time" in case of getting bumped quickly. The top ad is still the "king" and the only ad that is displayed in the banner on other pages on the site, as well as other websites that use that banner.

Next price is $59. KOTB is nearing the $2,000 mark which should increase traffic even more as excitement continues to pick up!

I'll definitely consider releasing it but not until the site gets a bit more popular.

I will let you know if I decide to release it. There would need to be a significant amount of interest though. I wouldn't release it just to sell a few copies.

Well the good news is that you are still free to buy one.

Two spots have already sold today. If you bought one now you could be the ad that pushes it over $2,000.

Otherwise you could wait until it hits $100.

Either way, traffic is continuing to come in. Plus the link is a permanent link so no matter how high of a PR this page gets you will not pay another cent to stay on once you have paid once.

Well traffic has been going back up a lot lately and several spots have sold in just the past few days. There is now only ONE double digit spot left! The next spot is the $99 spot! That means just 2 sales away from hitting the big $5k mark!
