If they sold it for 25k, they mustve been to high from partying after 7 years of making billions to understand what they were doing.

It wouldnt sell for under the billions.

Google should do it for fun. Like send in your best offer and they act like really might sell it if the offer is right then let it fade away like the gmail upgrade thing which is still going. It would get a lot of media attention which means more google users.
