There are some fantastic domains in there, ones that I would think should have been taken ages ago... It makes me wunder what value these hold

I know, I was tempted to register a bunch but need to cut back some and am already at the point where if .US makes it big I'll be a very happy camper, and if it doesn't why throw more $$ at it? So I figured instead of wasting the scan I'd post it here.

That's what I'm worried about,
IF , it makes it big! Which I suspect it will not unfortunately. I would have to register them to resell.

Only time will tell, the USA can't control the global internet forever and when that happens I think we (we being folks in the US) will pay more attention to our own little country code. Could be a long wait though...

I grabbed 4.
Sadly, I have no "namebucks" on this forum yet. I'll donate when I get some.
Thanks!

What does that mean? Is "rep" a "reply"? I am fairly new to the boards so I am not up on all of the lingo yet
BTW, I grabbed:
uplinks
quitters
microcomputers
irishmen
Certainly worth more than 5.99 each.
GD is having a sale on .us

When Neustar completes the zipcode search directory (the largest local search directory) the .US domains will skyrocket
Lasher thanks for the list, reps added.

I think its good to diversify, and the .us ext can very well take off with the success of one. I am always happy when there is a big sale on Sedo, especially in the wake of .mobi.
In the meantime I try to visualize how a particular word may lend itself to a developed site that connects to the US in some way. I saw apprentices on your list (thanks Lasher) and noticed apprentices, which was gone when I checked;-(
Seems lilke a better chice then elbows for example of a name that connects well. Unless you wanted to do a silly site on elbows like; guess whose famous elbow this is?
Double names can also work when a more generic name is taken in that extention. Though I have yet to embark on developing, imagine that name developed in some way.--with a bit of seo and LP your good to go.
