USA .US names.

What do you folks think about .US names containing "US" or "USA"? I tend to avoid them, somehow to me they just don't feel right, like LoansUSA.us etc. America on the other hand, works fine for me.

Is this just me?

I don't really like them either. They seem redundant.

I don't love them either, but if they are at the beginning of the keywords then I can deal with it, depending on the other keywords. For example, something like USALoans.us or USLoans.us might be worth registering IMO, but definitely not LoansUSA.us or LoansUS.us.

I tend to avoid them for the same reasons.

I'd avoid them, repetition isn't really a good thing.

I agree with this, but there may be exceptions to the rule. 'America' or 'American' could fit however.
