What do you guys think of .tv domains???

I was wondering what you guys think of .tv domains?? I thought of a few kick ass .tv names (hard to do) that i thought had some good potential and are avail. and i can register for the .tv price norm of 50 to 100 bucks. could one make money with a quality .tv name? (besides the owners of the .tv)

Probably worthless unless you are a tv show and advertising your domain on a television..but then again it all depends on development plans etc..you never know

i don't like .tv... it does sound like it's a site for a television show and it would be kinda wierd if you used it for something else, don't ya think.... my opinion anyways...

Limited use and too expensive. IMHO you're better off getting "yournametv.com" as opposed to "yourname.tv"

FUN to look back most don't even contribute here anymore but .TV is still here. I love the outside of a tv show line, yeah Major league Baseball lose that .tv, Konica Minolta that Bizhub.tv is not a tv show lose it, Ultimate Fighting CHampionship now has a tv show but had UFC.tv way before.

so... does that mean a dot com website has to be about COMputers, a COMpany, COMics, COMmunism and nothing else?

( sigh ) I am sadly disappointed in you. Look... If Major League baseball and the National Basketball Association uses dot tv as part of it's spiel... then I see nothing wrong with it. Simple and put... Dot TV is NOT ment to be used as a tld extention for a business name. However... it is used commonly for broadband media sites (flash 8 video compression and BPL will shed even more light to this as well).

IMHO dot tv has weaknesses over dot com... but tabbed as the "preffered interactive tld" is quite an honor. There's not only room for the extention... there is a cheerful future for it as well.

I have lots of domains including .com .net .org .us and .tv
One .us domain name I sold for $XX,XXX.XX
And my .tv brings a higher traffic than any other extensions
I would say .tv definitely better

.tv has by far the most potential of any new extension. I see many people sell $50 registered .tv domains for $1,000 to $2,000, but excellent picks. I think you would be much better to buy 1 top notch premium .tv, rather than 100 regular ones. This domain is going places.
