wow. commercials.tv - seller made out well, but GREAT price for buyer.

Italy was a great sale!!!

I still think the buyer got a helluva deal!

Great sale. Great ROI for John and I think buyer got a great deal as well. I think this publicity could spur Germany.tv and Japan.tv to sell for good $$$ at Sedo auction.

This gives me a idea of what Spain.tv might sell for as well with similiar premiums.

No, Thats what I bought it for.
The seller paid a Premium Reg price of about $400 for it, so I would say he did very well also.
I think he only owned it for about an hour or so...lol

I believe we broke a .TV Sedo sales record...
The whole sale AND transfer was complete in about an hour at Sedo!

Italy.tv seem like a very high price to me, I think when the premium auction happens thise will seem like a very poor deal for the buyer @$750 renewal.

amazing sale. It makes me very happy I picked up some geos: Austria, Belgium, Taiwan, Amsterdam...

this bodes well for Japan.TV, etc... my hopes of getting it cheap have faded away.

How much (or %) would Italy.com sell for? :blink:
IYHO.

If this was another pre-auction sale / and timely to be "reported sale" between self-interested .TV domainers, I am unsure how this "news" would have any meaningful, positive impact on the auction (and development) of Geo .TV's beginning on Thursday, IMHO.
Low $XX,xxx sales of COUNTRY .TV's is somewhat disappointing ... for a ten-year old extension / ccTLD! :red: :imho:

why do you have to trash every domain sale? why do you feel the need to share your "valuable" opinion by tearing away at other people's happiness?

Thread topic: Italy.tv sold for $19,000 at Sedo ... back on topic; folks often use "comparables" of different extensions OF THE EXACT SAME DOMAIN for discussion purposes (though I agree that they shouldn't be used as a firm sales pricing rule, especially between the mighty .COM and a struggling ccTLD such as .TV (Tuvalu), IMHO. :gl:

i know the buyer. you should be more careful how you make disparaging allusions that might tarnish others reputations cause someday you might get hit with a really nasty liable suit. hint: in the uk it is the defendant who must prove they are innocent.

you dont own any valuable domains held by uk or commonwealth country-controlled registrars do you?
