 Interestingly the name actually sold in 2006 for $10,000 at Afternic, Sticker Shock! 3-Letter Norwegian Country Code Domain Commands Over $700,000 In Year's Highest Reported Sale The price back then was probably too high and most seemed to think it was a "good sale" (which I think usually means "high"), whilst one or two seemed to think the price was right. http://www.namepros.com/dot-tv/19059...ews-tvers.html "webcom" looks to have had his crystal ball well aligned. Looking back in hindsight there is some degree of irony in thread, it was perhaps the peak for the channel names rather than it "starting a trend". It is intersting ttat the first owner sold it for $9800 and wouldn't have made alot after paying for 8 years of renewals + sedo fees and the next guy made a sunstantial loss. That is the "premium name story" all over. Even the good sales, like the original $9,800 one when the market was better, aren't so great after all the expenses, most of the profit goes to Verisign. | ||||||||

May I remind you that I once asked on this forum that we respect the rights of an individual who people 'assumed' was making a bIG loss and was having so sell a forum. From what I recall I suggested we didn't know the facts so should avoid comment until we did. I then contacted that person directly. Next time you want to analyse something to do with anothers business dealings - get your facts straight or shut the @£$% UP It is this constant putting down of things without a shred of fact that absolutely ruins what is left of your reputation. | ||||
