German TV names

In another thread I saw the following quote...

I always believed the German .TV market was already well occupied with buyers, especially as I have only been able to find a few really good names. However, I hope MattheP is correct. I know MillersCrossing sold the German name Acht for a five-figure sum but I can't recall too many others.

Are members here actually buying German names? Is there any evidence to suggest this is a good market? Does anyone know of other german name sales?

Breast Cancer
I was watching some German programs on satelite and cable, and lots of shows and programs had logos with .tv domain, usually matching show/program name.

I just checked, one of the bigger site was deluxemusic.tv, but it points now to deluxetelevision.com

And lots of 'late night' adult commercial I saw on German RTL had .TV ads (including numbers - 'Call me now at +43 53 626534 or visit 4353626534.TV' *). Could be good for your 18.tv.

* Number is random

I have seen a number of .TV names on ads in Germany, and even more in Holland, but I still think the UK has the highest percentage of .TV names.

One of the things that first attracted me to .TV names was walking past an event at Dusseldorf Airport and seeing a long line of camera trucks - all had various logos with the .TV extension on them rather than .de or .com

Talking about Europan .TVs, dont forget Eurovision.TV - 2009 Eurovision show was watched by couple of millions people in Europe (can't find exact numbers now), and Eurovision.TV logo was displayed during the show.
