I just got the email that the final days are here for channelme......any update on this magnify company?

Is anyone using there service yet?

I have an old magnify account somewhere. Think the pro version gives you some branding or full ad share or something. Can't give a lot of feedback on it since I haven't paid much attention to it. Has a nice video grabber, although not as selective as it could be. Has some potential with some work, and can put site name in url bar with right setup. Overpriced for the commercial versions, last I checked. Several template style options, a fair amount of configuration. Can pull RSS feeds for news and pulls video tags which can be edited. IIRC each vid gets its own page. Everything is kept on magnify platform, no hosting with them, think you can set it as an i-frame though. Also has widgets that can embed in your site, but it takes you to magnify when viewing. May be able to backlink from it though. Too long. Maybe time for me to go take another look.

You can set up adsense on there, although haven't done it due to automated nature of a non-curated system. Adsense works on a split revenue model, unless you pay for the buyout and branding features.

Wish I could give you more details, use search tool on their main page and you can probably find some decent examples of what the sites look like. Like I said, haven't been there in a while, some other people can probably give you better info. This is all from memory, no idea what changes have been made in the last several months.

So far, Magnify.net is 1,000 times better than ChannelMe.tv ever was. I already have over 4,000 videos loaded to Abstracts.tv : Your Music Video Television! . Still lots of work to do, but not near a pain in the a** as ChannelMe.tv
