WOW, ok well first off thank you everyone for the kind remarks here. Let me state clearly so everyone understands why,how etc.........

This forum was started in 2005 the first of its kind, when I came to Namepros in 2004 there was little talk about .tv. If there was it was .tv sucks which is what I would say as a private joke with a couple here. I had believed that people should have their own place to discuss an extension with like minded people. This was the important premise, its why the section had unique rules, THE .tv subforum was never about saying .tv was great or rival .com or anything like that. It was for people who were already interested to have their own place, so the rule of if you do not like .tv great, take that to domain discussion. The place was really started for 6 people, with others welcome to join but Argos,JohnTV,TldNetworks,Amcy.org,Badger and .mike were the reason for starting it.

The forum has been unique in that people came here not for domains but for .TV and .TV only. People would pm me all the time when another mod deleted, or pmmed or edited. I explained this is just one part of a big IMO most influential domain forum on the net. This was not an established section, it was organically grown.

This forum was and is the largest source for information on .tv on the net. That is not opinion that is fact, everything after was born out of this place. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and that is 100 % in .tv. That is because of all the members who came here and helped build the .tv sub.

Over the years since I do not sleep alot I have always had one computer open just on .tv anywhere from 18 to 20 hours a day on the forum. There were posts deleted or moved literally 10 seconds after being posted. The forum introduced what no other area had introduced before. I had people call me at home at Midnight who I did not know personally and chatted for hours (THANKS JACK hahahaha).

Spending 20 hours on the forum takes somewhat of a toll, although anyone who knows me knows I am never just doing one thing so this was not all I did, and since the forum was philanthropy time also needed to be focused on earning a living.

The forum also has had many personal debates some little, a couple that were more involved. Some people left, some said they left and just sat invisible sometimes on the forum 10 times a day.

The forum volume has slowed with the entire economy and domain industry overall. We started threads about suggestions, there were none. Venting there were none. A thread about what people needed help with, little reply, We started a .tv nooner auction idea, little reply. The lack of interest in certain things and a personal frustration for the amount of time spent on the forum, along with personal relationships all non domainers who were annoyed at the time I spent on the forum, along with its time to get serious on getting some ideas moving in the right direction got me to the point of wanting to have a dissassociation from modding a forum. Additionally to be honest I do not want any editorial comment on any content created. Let me make perfectly clear RJ never gave me a hard time, but I realized I wanted total control as I looked back on 4 years and realized I could have possibly done more and monetized it.
