![]() | "die" in German is actually a one of the four grammatical cases and genders. This article on Wikipedia explains it pretty well. It's less of a word and used in conjunction with other words.

![]() | Television is a feminine noun in German and die is the feminine 'definite article' (the): die Television=die.TV=the television quite catchy. On the downside would anyone search for 'the tv' in German, and the 'real' word for tv is 'das Fernsehen'. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Jim, I have Dies.tv which I believe has only one translation which is This.tv in German. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong but I think Die has a number of translations depending on how it is strucured in a sentence and can mean: the, that, which, who, this one. |

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=507480 diese, diesem, diesen, dieses, dieser are the possible forms of dies/. Dies with a noun behind is only being used for special meanings. Dies has some meanings as a noun as well, but that does not matter for this situation.Forget dies.tv /useless(I think) Die.tv is great in spite of the fact that Germans use Fernsehen much more than tv. Should have close to the same relative value as this.tv
