Parting Brings Such Sorrow - The Names We Miss The Most

Has anyone ever sold a name - only to regret doing so at a later date?

Two IDN .TVs...

I sold them for Mid $XXX each, six months ago.

They must be worth at least $5K each.

What I regret most is I started buying .tv in 2000 and even though I got some good ones, the one's I did not get such as top geo's along others I never thought of. I guess I was a "newbie" and did not really know what I was doing but no complaints though.

Thanks, Jim

No regret, just smiles for the mistakes I did , that's part of the play and I can't live with "if I had known" as domaining is just a hobby for me.

No matter how many mistakes you may have made, you got the .tv steal of the century; Videos.tv for a non-premium

Just to put a little twist on things:

I can't think of anytime I have ever sold a name to regret it BUT....

I can think of multiple times were I had an offer for a name and held out for more or got greedy and then after the fact regretted not selling it. I can actually think of cases where I turned down mid $xxx for a name just to let it expire a year later because it got no traffic/rev and the original guy who made the offer wasn't even interested anymore.

Any others with regrets to NOT selling a name?

Similar story for me. I had a high $xxx offer which I turned down, a few months later I sent the same domain to auction at sedo for min bid of $60 and it ended at $70!!!

I was sure kicking myself for that one.

Yes, I once did the same thing. Had a good offer on a .TV and countered with something ridiculous. The buyer backed out and I eventually let the domain expire. Shoot, self, foot.
