![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Currency Fluctuations - Are They Hurting You - or making you smile? Has the massive drop in the value of the Pound Sterling recently from $2.10 to $1.87 started to have an effect on the 'buying power' of the Brits. Similarly, are fellow Euro zone people slowing down on purchases now the dollar is picking up. Are the Americans here starting to use their new found currency wealth to buy Euro and Pound priced names on SEDO Is this a good time to sell names if you are a Brit in a hope of a fast turnaround in the currency markets. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There are two ways to look at this. Here in Canada the C$ has risen from $0.68 US to fluctuate around par in approx 12mths. This has had the effect of making purchasing domains a lot cheaper. The downside has been that when selling domains in US$, the returns when exchanged to C$'s have been drastically reduced. |
