Favorite Keyword Suffixes?
I know there are still keywords left in .tv although many good ones are taken.

I'm wondering not only what your favorite suffixes are, but also which suffixes do you feel have the most "upside" potential?

Example:

"keyword"tv.tv
"keyword"channel.tv
"keyword"station.tv

I have a couple of names in mind to reg - but I'm wondering which suffixes might be the most desirable moving forward?

I really think it depends on the keyword in these cases

some fit better with "TV" and some "channel" etc

An idea would be to check on Namebio to see the previous domain sales with each of those suffixes.

Actually for 2008, there have been :
- 7 reported tv.tv sales
- 7 reported channel.tv sales
- no reported station.tv sale

That's still not much for tv.tv and channel.tv and not good at all for station.tv.

So I would advise you to really stick to top keywords if you want to register these kinds of .tv domains.

Generally, depending on the name, I prefer keywordchannel.tv the best out of the above 3.

Channel goes better than station for .tv IMO. You need to get strong keywords that make sense. If you can get a subject that relates to what is on each tv channel the better. For example, "HistoryChannel", "SportsChannel", even
"ChristianMusicChannel" could work. If the good keywords are taken than try "station" and than Keyword tv.tv in those keywords and if non-premium you can't go wrong. Don't forget the spanish market as well. It's more wide open and is growing faster than the english market.

Network also works...ie: TheSportsNetwork.tv

Television can work as well, although not as "catchy".

I do like channel.

I like channel the best, and I think it has great growth potential.

Also interesting, when you look at italian or spanish tv channels, lots of them end with "vision", so that may possibly work with names related to those languages. Something to think about anyway.
