NATPE Opening Video

The NATPE convention (National Association of Television Program Executives) was held this past week and they kick it off with a video all about how viral videos have become part of our lives.

This wonderful video takes us through the kinds of TV and digital programs and events that move us to want to pass it on. From things that make us laugh, cry, and wonder why.

The video which you can see HERE was made to stress the importance of moving into the digital age with TV programming. It's another sign of how TV and the Internet are becoming Siamese twins.

It's a great video, one you should check out even if you're just a TV watcher.

Ironically, I can't easily share the video with you because there is no embed or share code! LOL.

That's the irony of the whole thing. It's all about viral video and why we share videos and it's not embedable! Someone will probably recode it for YouTube in a bit.

I thought it was a terrific piece of work as a TV fan and as a comment on where the industry is going. And the section on what brings us to tears certainly did that.
