Have been noticing a trend lately... in addition to brightcove moving their videos to a .tv site, here is another one that uses .tv for their webcasts. I have seen a number of fairly large .com sites branching to use .tv for videos etc... I think this will become a popular trend as more companies realize the need to have a distinguished site for video content...
I totally agree. Once consumers begin to relate .COM with US tangible goods and .TV with video, you will see the "wise ones" diversifying into .TV. Then the sheep will follow.
Of course, the really cool sites won't use .COM at all. It's too "Old School".

Nice find. Lately, I found many media related sites using .tv names to show that basically what they do is media related. The fever will catch soon. I personally like mma using mma.tv and UFC using UFC.tv in the ring, that give tremendous exposure as well as brightcove of course.
