Carson is a buddy of Richard Rosenblatt (founder of Demand Media and ME.TV).

They shoot traffic wherever they want. Carson basically calls Rich and says, "hey, can you send me some eyeballs". Then Rich logs into his eNom account and clicks a few buttons.

BTW: You can change the defaults be modifying your DNS settings.

Carson claims to be my friend. In fact, he is always the first person on my friends list when I have signed up with me.tv.

I feel really good to know I have a friend like that that is always there for me. Weird thing though, he never returns my phone calls and my flowers keep getting sent back.
