Forgive my newness to the knowledge of domain world, but there seems to be a hype on the .tv name, I'm a graphic designer and i have done like 10 .tv logos in the last week (not complaining at all keep them coming).
Just do some reading on the forum, and you will see there is a lot ocurring in the extension..... Demand Media releasing me.tv, large .TV sales occurring, 100% registration increase over previous year. General public is becoming more aware of the association between .TV and media in general, so values are rising, even more so for developed sites.

Soon enough once fiber-optic cabling is everywhere, live streaming video and other amazing technologies will develop. Crystal clear conferencing, live concert coverage, up to date weather feeds, is that enough to why these might have value?
Up until last week id never even heard of a .tv, so it seemed like "all of a sudden hype" for me. Its interesting though, im glad to be apart of the movement

I see you are in the US so you are getting the American perspective on .tv but I can tell you that this extension is now taking off all over the world especially over here in Europe and I personally call it the rest of the worlds dot com. I am also 100% sure dot tv domains will continue to increase in value year after year and I do own a pretty large portfolio myself and I will continue to register any good ones I spot at the registry.
Congratulations to all the other NP members who have kicked my ass regarding my 2006 reported sale record I held and I lookforward to lots more ass kicking as the value and demand for your domains will enevitably increase.
I asked him to incorporate Mount Vernon on the NorthernVirginia.tv logo and Churchhill Downs on the Louisville.tv logo and he did a good job.
