"Looks like".......unless there is a glitch - its a definate......and that is fantastic news - whomever bought it..(it is protected by WHOIS.....the plot thickens !!.)....finally, getting that off the shelf and into development (HOPEFULLY).......is great news for the extension - all top ten city geo .TVs now gone......
I have no clue as to the ins and outs of the deal, but I sense a whirlwind coming!!
Dallas was regged apparently there was a deal to lower the reg fee, in speaking to a few people deals have been offered to lower reg fees with a committment for a certain amount of years regged.
wine/wines gone now. damn. damn. damn. my own damn fault. great pair. I bought some over the weekend, can't mention them all yet until deal is done, but I had to sell some of my .coms to cover the cost. Are they worth it? who knows? Eye of the beholder. In some of my colleagues eyes, I may have simply traded real gold for fool's gold... LOL... but if we all focus on development, it'll only benefit the .TV ecosystem and everyone who is holding .TVs in their portfolio.
man, I should've bought wine.tv & wines.tv - "crazy me"... I end up buying premium "brandable" domains like Hungry.TV & Thirsty.TV, LOL... I have great concepts & software behind them, but the generics are quickly disappearing.
-Good Luck to everyone.

Great names. And it looks like deals are being done, as Equity mentioned. Wine & wines were both priced at $10k after the online.tv drops. Just checked and someone regged then at reduced prices:
Wine.tv $5k/year
Wines.tv $2.5k/year
Congrats to whomever got these at the reduced price. I look forward to the developed site. I know I'll be a viewer, glass of wine in hand. CarryOn

Eq,
If you do a check on how much DALLAS.TV went for it is showing 10k....if whoever bought it managed to get a deal, would that not have to be reflected in the price in the usual way that we confirm the premium pricing of a premium name??
No kidding Sanchay that point had nothing to do with the fact that he expressed interest in Dallas and they jacked the price up but tank you for explaining to me that people had interest in GEO.tv before Local experts I am not too familiar with this extension so Thank you

Hmmm, maybe he caused all the premium prices to go up then whether geo or not.

No I don't think so as most LLL.tv prices went down from $750 to $500 I think it was mostly the Geo that he expressed interest like Dallas from $10,000 to $30,000 and Jacksonville from $1,000 to $3,000
