I assume you mean you changed the DNS to your own hosting?
If so, my experience is about 24-36 hours for it to fully resolve. Can you give some more details?

DNS name propagation is the only real delay if you have a functioning site. Most companies will quote you 48 hours for DNS propagation time, but it's normally a little faster.

Just set the "A Record" in your DNS config to your functioning site IP address and it will happen before dinner, most likely. It's a fairly fast process, once you have a site/IP to point it at.
