The domain luxurycars.TV is perfect example of what we say "niche domain". I suppose that the buyer knew this and did't got the domain for a domain investment but for a developing site.
Can you all imagine the target group this domain has? Think about the sponsorships and the advertisments it could get if it was developed with a professional way. (not just a me.tv site)
With this opportunity I would like to mention that the future (and the big xxx.xxx) of the .TV market is in the niche .TV domains. Url's that bring to the advertisers what they call the perfect "target group".
.TV Market is now on fire . On May 1st when I purchase some premium domains I was afraid if my investment was about to return but now I am convinst that the big money and the big opportunity isn't on domain resaling (not for the moment but on domain development.
I'm w/McKenna. I don't get it. From what I can tell, it won't help much on google because people search for "luxury cars", not "luxurycars", so I don't see it getting much traffic just from overtures b/c of the two (space) word. AND I think most people looking for luxury cars have a type or brand in mind already. Am I missing something?
I was in the bidding and backed out. there were better premiums out there for my money.

Mind if I ask what comedyvideos.tv went for, I believe we check for that and it wasn't available. As you can from my sig, I have a pretty strong interest in this particular domain. BTW: I'm sure your aware that is a pre-defined tag/category at me.tv/guide
At first blush it might seem richly priced (especially with collectorscars.com selling this week for $2,750 as reported on dnjournal), but on second thought it’s a great targeted name and I agree with huckour’s niche analysis. For a luxury car dealer or limousine service this is cheap indeed.
