DUH. Totally forgot about the auction and I had it on my list of things to do today.

Maybe start an auction email notification list? Send out 24, 12 and 1 or 2 hours before start.

yes it was quite fun- lots of good names went not bought. i get the feeling that on one hand, domainers see .tv fetching some nice sales, and who wants to sell a name for 20 bucks if it can pull 200.00.

on the other hand, we are all domains, and want a deal. i think that poeple were hoping for $10,000 premium names, without the premium, were going on the block for 99.99.

My personal feeling is that for arranging this, you should be getting a small commission as a token of appreciation for creating the marketplace for this.....

Also want to announce a new partnership in names........great way of spreading the risk, reducing renewal fees and making great contacts and possible friendships...although in this case I think the friendship came first...

Me and Stoneroses bought both those number channels.........Bob is a really easy to get along with person and we made a spot decision to go in halves......

I cannot recommend partnerships enough.....hopefully you choose them well, but there are huge advantages to partnerships that some times go underestimated.....
