My price expectation was $499. I got an offer for $400, I countered with $450 and they excepted.
Haven't received the check but sedo says they got the payment and I pushed the name a few days ago.

Can anyone analyze this sale for me ?Should I have countered with more then my price expectation since the original offer was for 80% of the price expectation ? Would it be better not to use a price expectation ?

Now, I'm not at all sorry I made the deal at $450. If you do a search on these forums I actually posted it for sale here looking for an offer just to cover my reg fees for two years and maybe a couple bucks more....so I would have probably taken a $100 offer here....but no one bit.

Sounds like you made 4 1/2 times your first price expectation so don't forget that. With domains and many other unique items, the best time to sell is when people are buying.

Cash the check and enjoy the money or reinvest it.
