Register a two-word name (almost no relevance to TV, but extremely high OVT)?
I saw a .TV name available that has a good search result from google and overture in almost 7 figures (~1,000,000) monthly and 5 figure daily overture (~20,000).
It has two words, but it has almost no relevance to .TV unless you develop an innovative product that will make it relevant to .TV.
I'm just looking for a quick flip if I am to buy this domain (non-premium reg fee).
Do you guys think it's worth it?
I'll post up the domain name if I decide to purchase it.
Hey, if you can get onto the first page in the search engine results, who cares if it is a .com or .tv? I have a 2 word product .tv that does quite well, zero relevance to media/television. If all you are interested in is type in traffic, .tv is the wrong extension anyway. With .tv it is all about relevancy, or general activity in the niche.
I agree with Rogue's line of thinking and disagree that you better be relevant to reg a .TV domain.
If I want to be #1 on Google when someone searches for the keyword and I can secure that spot with PestControl.TV because PestControl.COM is not developed and out of reach, then guess what we are going to make "Pest Control" relevant to .TV because IMHO you can make anything relevant to .TV.
Sorry about the late response everybody.
I've been out for dinner right after I posted this up.
I'll give it a little more thought, and even if I'm not going to register it, I'll post up the name.
So far, I've only been registering one word or two word names that has relevance to .TV. Overture is nothing comparable to the name in mind though.
I've decided not to register the domain.
My decision is that I'm going to only register the ones that I'm going to develop (or something that I can potentially develop... therefore, it has to be in my skill and financial range).
I made a new thread where I posted up the domain.
