And to answer the question, how can a site make money without a front page. Well one thing I learned the hard way is that the front page is the most insignificant page on MOST web sites. In the old days, large companies would give you $8 million in investment money and then take back $6 million (recognize it as revenue) and give you a link on the front page of their site. Back in the day, we had a link on many well known sites.
I won't name sites, but I had a VP of BizDev who would run into my office and say "George we are going on the front page of XXXXX.COM. We are going to be billionares". Two days after launch, my standard response would be "Where's the traffic?". Years later, aftering buying links on other areas of the same sites, I found the traffic.
After we were the established brand, I had people begging me to buy a link on our home page. I told them we got very little traffic on our front page. They jumped at the $XX,XXX/yr price.
Words of Wisdom, "don't fall into the front page trap". The front page is the prom queen page. It looks good, but makes very little money and if you are smart you send most of your traffic directly to the "money" pages because you don't want to lose 50% of your traffic on each link they have to click between the front page and the "money" page.

So far, Pest Control businesses are very receptive to PestControl.tv.
My logic, if I can make PestControl.tv, then I can make almost any category work for the extension.
Lots of debate last year on whether or not the purchase of PestControl.tv was wise. Considering I will recover the purchase price in less than 2 months, I think it was a good buy.
