I get many pm's everyday on a wide range of issues
ranging from the people who don't like other people here, to close the forum make it a private forum to this place has become spam central.
So I will try to answer everything here so others with the same yet unpmmed questions will have answers
Equity how can I keep people I don't like from commenting in my threads ?
First off I don't know everybody you don't like and this is a public forum so that a tough one.
Equity I am surprised how you have let this forum become spam central most threads here are someone promoting their site.
I disagree with this I think I stay on top of posts and run the tightest ship of any subforum here. But if you see spam post it. We have a marketplace and that is where all self promotion threads are to go
Equity I feel that this is a difficult place for newbies to learn this place is very elitist and that is not good for new members.
I don't think the place is elitist I think some have just been doing this longer and probably have better portfolios but this place is for everyone not just "elitists"
How can I get smart alec answers out of my thread ? the poster contributed nothing .
Well I delete them when I see them this subforum's rules are tighter than the overall forum no off topic posts no smart alec posts
Equity I really am using this forum to speak to Demand Media
Well email demand media then because non sense posts will be deleted
EQUITY I am interested in a forum sponsorship but why pay if I can just spam the forum with posts please tell me the value in advertising?
Well you get your ad seen on every page with a sponsorship and the other can only post in the .tv marketplace
Equity can we close the forum and make it private ? I think we give enom and demand media and other competitors too much information about .tv
This is a public forum we are not going private right now

| WOW, some folks must have too much time on their hands to email you just to let you know how much they dont like certain members. LOL. Im sure you get a wide array of PMs that you just shake your head at and say what? You run a tight ship here Equity, you police this subforum more than any other subforum here. It is not spam central. Yes more folks are posting for appraisals these days, but what ill affects does that really cause. Just more interest in .TV! I dont see a problem with it as long as you follow the 48 hour rule. Good job on staying impartial to requests. | |

I don't get the sense at all that this place is "elist" or "spam central".
