| Question on Premium TV name There is a .TV name I am thinking of buying from someone. It's hosted at enom. The owner says since it is a premium name, the renewal fee is $2500/year. I asked my Godaddy rep about this and he says they never heard of such a thing. But, I've since found out that there are names that are premium and cost more.
But my Godaddy rep also told me that if I bought it and transfered it to Godaddy, I would pay the normal, regular TV rate, not the $2500. But, here's my question: will enom let me transfer away a premium TV name that is generating themselves $2500 a year?
What's wrong with this picture? |

| 1. You cannot transfer a premium registration out of Enom.tv, period.
2. Any difference other than the premium reg fee established by enom can only be negotiated via enom not any other registrar, ie godaddy. Your rep is incorrect with his statement.
3. Premium registrations can range anywhere from $100 to 1 million plus a year depending on the name.
Hope that helps
