While I know this is a .TV forum and as you know I love .tv and spend pretty heavily on it I wanted to get my .TV friends honest thoughts on my recent purchase of mobilebroadcast.com for 2K
The guy originally wouldn't move off a figure of about twice that and he finally accepted an offer of 2K that I marked as "my final offer"
This purchase is part of the reason I stopped registering any .tv's as I have spent my alloted amount of money I intended to spend.
I went through a long and hard thought process about what the best way to spend the 2K was. I obviously could have bought a ton of .TVs but in the end this purchase was done with development and investment purposes in mind. The fact is we .TV people still face hurdles with the investment community.
mobilebroadcast.com was purchased for development reasons and I'm going to be creating and marketing a site dedicated to all things related to the mobile broadcast world (podcasting, phonecasting ect) and as a marketplace for people to learn how to do these things.
I debated the merits of .TV vs .com in this case. Most of the tld's for mobilebroadcast (including .tv ) are already reged but in the end I couldn't pass this one up.
I'd love to here your thoughts on this???? Or any additional development ideas?
I must say the one nice thing will be those $6.95 yearly reg fees
