whatever your intentions are - look in the mirror, give yourself a moment and ask yourself - why be so derogatory of other people...what is going so wrong for you to find it necessary to draw negative attention toward yourrself....
On a more pleasant note - I saw babysitters mmyself some time back - but I was spendig so much money at the time on total rubbish that I was a little hesitant .....not a bad reg if you manage to get it to development stages..
its a long shot unless you develop it yourself, but if you do, then youll only drive traffic to the non plural version "babysitter.tv" you would be wasting marketing $$ good luck with it anyway
Sorry, but your post looks quite ridiculous. There was a proverb saying, a man with dark mind looks the whole world as dark. Whats wrong with babysitters.tv. Yeah, I know, I know porn and I know the categories on porn sites. But that does not entitle to see the word babysitters and immediately think about of that particular track.
Imagine for a minute if you were to set-up a camera at home and be able to watch a feed from the office of the babysitter/nanny taking care of your kids. I do not see that as out of realm with today's technology and broadband speeds. Yes, it would be a type of live feed webcam. Today many couples both work and kids are left to be looked after by someone. Babysitter(s).tv would be the perfect for it, IMO.

Or you may sell the control products that are available for home security (kind of cams to watch over kids in one room when the parents are say on the computer in another room). As an affiliate or using dropshipper.
I dunno, might be some potential, but I guess it would have to do with the babysitters themselves, and how that is handled. If all are above 18 years old, then probably okay, but any underage female babysitters might be giving away too much info about themselves online.
Might make for an okay forum/station on the art of babysitting..... articles on activities to entertain/educate that involves crafts, etc...
It's one of those sites I would have to see after you've done a ton of work, before I could decide if I like it!
1. Well we've all seen the films I'm sure of the nannies or baby sitters doing their job "Poorly". This could be a site with those wideos (A typo that if not already coined Weird Video's - Wideos).
2. With wireless broadband internet taking off so much how about a place for Moms and dads where they can check how things are going at home with the video camera's being the babysitter. (Yikes wouldn't want that site to get hacked though)
or...
a video forum/blog for babysitters around the globe to share stories/experiences, exchange ideas, etc.
funded by google ads to buy video monitoring products and/or affiliates with survelience video equipment resellers (x10.com)

I haven't said anything derogatory about anyone, I'm giving my view of this name.
The problem is associating the word babysitters with video content which is what this domain does. A very large number of people will first think of that as being a porn site. There is a big difference between the assumed meaning of say babysitters.net and babysitters.tv.
snoop is right. "babysitters" runs into multiple problems considering most babysitters are under 18 and that a video site might be associated with some kind of fetish site. Its the world we live in today, i'm sorry to say, just look at the news. Snoop is offering a fair assessment and you're jumping on him for being honest.
Babysitting or videositter might be less prone to the lurid, if you're really considering video monitoring products and/or affiliates with survelience video equipment.
I hear you psambar and snoop I hear you too to an extent.......I think the bigger problem about most of your posts, which always seem to have a negative slant (to which you are fully entitled) is the way it comes across - it usually is short and without any backup - which gives the impression, at least to me, that you are in some way taking joy in your response......its something I can't really put my finger on, but something that definately seems to come across in your posts.......if you are being sincere and not spiteful, then I apologise publicly to you..
One more point - I am all for porn!! and is a subject best left off a public forum, but I fail to see the immediate connection with porn - unless you have a particular interest in babysitters??.....nothing wrong with that either..!! but it may be a good thing to recognise this as a fetish rather than a middle of the road porn key word.....
Some really great ideas. Thanks for all the opinions. I think a direction may me a combination of a couple of them. When it comes to sales "fear" is a big factor. "Buy this, or this may happen to you!"
I think posting videos of babysitter horror stories while selling survelience equipment would be the right combination.
Century, I think you are right, that may very well be the way to go. Articles on profiling prospective babysitters, what to look for, hints like coming home early a few times, etc. Perhaps the companies that sell the surveillance monitors will have access to videos for you to run that either demonstrate, ficticiously ( or actual court cases ) , how important it is to take care choosing and monitoring a sitter.
I feel much more comfortable looking at this domain in that way.
