Equity, what is your take on .TV's firesale? How do you think this will impact the extension in terms of development spurs of both small and bigtime end users? How do you feel it will affect resellers, etc..

Hello SKG I think these discounts are very good It wassomething I pushed Scott Higgason who ran .tv for a long time. Now Scott Left on the 19th and now they put this in place and I can only speculate they felt like theyneeded to shake things up. DOT TV is a very small piece of Verisign, Scott was there before Verisign bought DOT TV corp so they had a knowledgeable guy leave.

my understanding within Verisign is that they move slow with regards to .tv so this had been talked about for awhile. Another tidbit discussed way back was to make 3character .tv and NNN.tv $50 Don't know if that will ever take place.

THe HRTS auction showed me that a prize name like KIDS.tv reg fee $100,000 went for $10,100 and no recurring big reg fee $50 from then on to one of the top .tv domainers MrsJello owner of DomainSpa. That showed me they were going to take less for premium names maybe they realize now it better to get people buying these names then them just sitting. Elequa told me a long time ago if they were priced at like $12 he would have done a buyout of all LLL.tv left so LLL.tv and LL.tv are good buys IMO especially the $500 LLL and $1000. But don't buy just because they are cheap A market can have a sale on Milk or eggs you don't buy more than you can use because it will just go to waste and a waste of the money too. I have always believed don't own more than a certain amount of .tvs they are not com or info or org $300 is a great price but 10 is $3000 for minimum two years registration. On the flip side you have to say what would MR.com cost me IT.com cost me min $50,000 ? $100,000? Now not saying .tv is .com it is not even close. But if you have an idea for MR or IT or any other quality tv it worth the while IMO. LL and LLL .tv get offers too they are desireable domains IMO acronyms and short words go with TV very well and there are many users of these short acronyms

The money is spent now whatever anyone thinks good or bad does not matter so put those ideas to work.

Next is to get Verisign to make it two years PREMIUM and then $50

Don't get caught up in the hype everyone regged some good domains now use them.

I would recommend parking LLL.tv that get traffic with a multi category page not just one topic unless it means something. MR.tv congrats very nice No matter what anybody says. IMO
