| from what I understand the french haven't fully embraced .fr. .TV might be a bit of a stretch for them. | |

| Good points everyone. It was just too hard to pass up on such a strong tv related keyword. Wondering if I developed it with affiliate ads geared for computers in France how it would do. Anyone have any experience on SEO and keywords?
PS. There are a lot of french word .tvs that are developed, see http://fr.search.yahoo.com/search?f...=vc%3DcountryFR
which makes me wonder.

| up on a long term. I registered about 10 French keywords .tv one year ago. ordinateur.tv was in my list but not in the best 10 keywords of my list (based on overture and n. pages in google). However, solid name if you are ok to wait for maybe 5 years. The French haven't adopted the .fr yet simply because it is restricted to the companies only, on the 20th of June it will be open to the French people and it might boost the acceptance of domain names in general in France. | |
