中华 is better than 中国,because the former one is accepted by all the Chinese culture circle. The later one is mainly for mainland. Especially in future, if Taiwan is united together with China, the former name will be the official one.

in Mainland, traditional characters will not be officially used unless taiwan and mainland are united together.
calligraphy is the reservation area of traditional characters.
But in business, traditional characters are very commonly used now, especially for the companies have international business in Chinese culture circle. The full name for Mainland China is 中华人民共和国, which has 中华 in it.
The full name for Taiwan is 中华民国, wich also has 中华 in it. So 中国 is a short for both names, though politically speaking they are ruled by different Chinese governments.
But anyway, it is a good name. If there is a state owned TV station other than CCTV, it very possibly chooses 中华 in its name. However it is not as generic as 中国.tv
