· #1 | | NamePros Regular | Open question to Brokerage.TV Hello, this is an open question to the representative from brokerage.tv
You mention on your site as recent sales:
- 3dmovies.tv
- carloans.tv
- dsl.tv
- autoloan.tv
- beaches.tv
To the best of my knowledge, none of these have been reported in DNJournal or elsewhere, where they can start to set some benchmark for pricing in the .tv namespace. It will also help you get great visibility for brokerage.tv as the selling organization (like sedo, afternic, snapnames, etc get from their sales)
Now, if they are ALL under strict NDA/confidentiality agreements, that is a shame that we can do little about, but otherwise, what can you share with us or the public at large about these sales or others???
It will be also useful to know if they were premium regs and what % of the purchase price was simply purchasing out the remaining registration fees... |

· #3 | | NamePros Member | Thank you for the suggestions. They are well noted.
We have not begun reporting our sales prices, because they have all been between only the $500 and $5,000 range. We are currently working on a few possible six figure sales, which we will publicize fully, and use to better establish the .tv aftermarket.
Sales Prices Were As Follows:
- 3dmovies.tv $500
- carloans.tv $1500
- dsl.tv $5000
- autoloan.tv $1200
- beaches.tv $5000
Both dsl.tv and beaches.tv were premium registrations, though none of the purchase prices were used toward purchasing out the remaining registration fees.
I will point out that all of these names sold for 2500 % to 5000 % of their initial registration prices. Not bad, though we see much greater potential in the near future.
Currently, we have seen an influx of offers made at our site, though mostly on high end premium domains. In general, the expectations of our most premium .tv domain owners, has not quite bowed to meet the amount most of our buyers are willing to pay, though it is moving in that direction.
I hope you found this information useful, and will work to keep our audience better informed of future developments. Your feeback is greatly appreciated. |

· #4 | | NamePros Regular | Brokerage.tv,
Thank you for the detailed and helpful response.
I would go ahead and report any sales above $1,000 to DN Journal.
They would make the Top 10 CCtld list practically every week and give you great publicity.
Cheers, |
