Lol, thats what I am asking..I do not know anything.
All the names that I want to register are premium and my pocket is little empty. So wishing they would change the price structure. Well, on the other hand, they can not keep all premium names as premium for ever since they are loosing yearly registration fees on those name that are not registered. They can atleast give "make offer" option on 500$ premium names.
Thanks,
Gamehouse

Seriously doubt they'll drop premium name prices. Their registrations are increasing - greater public interest, stronger demand.

Thanks Regfee, I will try that.
Thanks Carlton, it is true, and it is reassuring.

It's not much, but they will give $50 off on a $500 premium, if you just act like you were going to reg one. Do it all except, the final step. You will get an email with a coupon (number) good for $50.
You can make them an offer on any .tv name over $1,000 also:

Thanks for the tip.
BTW, I have a newbie question.
In registering a premium name, is there any agreement that we keep the names only with them for ever?
I know that there is a minimum two year payment requirement, but what stops us from moving the names away from them after 2 years?
Thanks for the info in advance,
Gamehouse

I'm interested in whether
www.TV also agrees to keep the price held, so that the reg fee will not increase in future.

As long as you keep the name registered the reg fee will not increase.

At one time they had something in the contract stating the renewal fee could not be increased more than 5% per year. Not sure if this is still active or not.

I have head that TV corp sometimes drops $500 premium names into being just regular names. Someone posted about a month ago about regging a .tv that used to be premium ($500/yr) but got it for regular reg fee. Interestingly, I have seventies.tv which should have been a premium name (sixties.tv and eighties.tv are $500/yr premium). I am unsure how or why TV corp made this mistake. If you are really interested in a $500/yr premium name, keep your eye on it. While rare, it may drop into the regular pool.
