Radio Shows on television have become common, there’s Howard Stern’s old E-channel show, his new satellite radio shows broadcast on iNDemand TV. Don Imus’s MSNBC broadcast and even Mike & Mike in the morning now broadcast on ESPN2.
With such a wide variety of programming available on broadcast and satellite radio and the innovations in televising these shows made over the last decade I’m certain that eventually there will be a television network to televise the best radio shows and Radio Show Television sounds like a good name for it.
Trust me or not, I thought about that name this morning. Did not check availability.
In fact, right now I am doing some research about web tv and sites that produce content and management of your web tv stations for you, it is amazing to see how many sites and businesses are running based on web tv. And most interesting part of that is they showcase their work with .tv websites.which is a great plus point for .tvers.
In broadsense, everything that you see and watch or do away from computer, is turning into , you do everything on a computer, seeing desitnation places, watching programs or doing anything
With all that said, radioshow.tv has very good potential for development.
Folks enjoy listening to TV *radio* as there is technolgy, and a business model that has been operating for several years now, that lets folks listen to TV programs in the car or office. And yes, radio TV is also a successful business model. In addition to the programs you mentioned consider the numerous "Pay Audio"/Radio programs that are offered on many cable tv systems. These channels show alpha-numeric visuals as the audio plays.
I played a (management and producer) role, with Cablevision and Group W Cable, launching several Pay Audio channels -including the old Satelite Cable Guide, in the 80's. And, I will be joining you in this online Radio-TV business in the future. The ability to show visuals, in sync with the music, as well as for ads, makes for a very entertaining format when you add a DJ / talk show host personality.
RadioShow.TV is as good a tag as it gets in this field.
A "Hot Property" IMO -- (I shy away from $ fiqures)
tho in my opinion TV is a view domain ( to do with graphical information/communication )
Radio on the other hand has to do with sound only.
Of course this is one way to look at it.
I would say this domain has a low-mid xxx,- $ value IMO
But, as I already said in another thread... give the domain (.tv tld)
some time to increase domain worth.
