this debate, brandability vs not is a critical one and at the heart of the .TV vs .COM debate IMHO

A stand out passage: "Sure, a domain name that receives traffic may be good, but a usable domain name with little traffic may be much more valuable. While some may argue that a name with inherent traffic is the most valuable, I would argue that a usable domain could be more valuable. If PPC continues to drop as it has, direct to business advertising and/or domain sales to end users will be the best way to make money on a domain name in the future. All of the above makes perfect sense for buying .TV's, we buy for the potential usage & the number of end users.
Before i buy any .TV then i think "Who will NEED this domain, would it be ideal for a large spectrum of buyers & of course How would I develop this domain"

It is a different ball game that how many treat buying .com's and thats why so many of the .com guys just cannot work out .tv. IMHO

I just bought another .Tv

I expect no traffic but it is the ideal domain for a massive number of end users and will make perfect sense for marketing. Sure the .com owners may say i'm crazy but its done me no harm so far.
I'll reveal all in a few days, i LOVE .TV
