Bing.TV

I bought Bing.TV on the drop this morning...

...for no other reason than I really like the name!

I still like the name a few hours later - but why - I could not say.

Does anyone agree that I made a good purchase - or was that a 'what the &$%@ was I thinking' moment?

I like this name too... It's kind of a funny, quirky name. I thought it might be a good one to have too - but the real reason i thought it had some appeal is b/c "bing" is a slang form of "bong" around some parts... Now that's not necessarily "my" thing - but i know a lot of people who are into it.

Catchy name, short with nice impact for the reading and sounding, simple but efficient : I like it very much and would put it first position in my short list of names for a web tv dedicated to tv ads.

Thanks Millers, BigDipper and Argos for your input and thoughts.

Much appreciated.

It's not often I buy a name without any purpose, idea, rhyme or reason, but I saw this one - and it just JUMPED out screaming BUY ME BUY ME BUY ME - so I did.

I'm so glad everyone likes it - and I've not gone 'purchase crazy'.

I'm going to go against popular opinion and say it's not great at all.
I can see little use for it without trying to make up some branding idea:
Bxx
Ixx
Nxxx
Gxxx

There are better domains out there than this, i would never reg a domains simply as it sounds nice. IMHO
I'd buy a smaller Geo rather than this but maybe i am just geo mad.

I hope you prove me wrong Jimbo,
Good Luck.

I like that name. It's sort of hip and edgey, and I think those types of names will do well eventually. It reminds me of someone having an idea pop into his head...Bing!!!

.....Bing! What a fab thought.

Ronnie

In many ways I made a newbie mistake - I just bought 'cause it sounded good'. No plan, no enduser in mind - nothing - I just liked the name.

Therefore I can understand why you may take a negative view on the name. You may be right.

Problem is, two days after purchase there are NO pangs of guilt - 'I' still like the name. In fact I like it more now than I did before.

And you should listen to me because I understand things that most mere mortals wouldn't comprehend! LOL

Like "THE NOW REMOVED MEANING OF THOSE WORDS" (Awaeanbeilyerheidyapricks)

You're VERY ????! But that aside, thanks for the opinion.

Glad somebody can read Glaswegian
A few have tried and failed, it was aimed at a number of the very negative posters of late (we all know who they are)
Do me a favour mate & edit your last post and remove the full meaning to my Sig, i like to confuse.

Regards BING
If you like it then thats all that really matters, that is the bottom line in all registrations as you pay the bills.

Though you did ask for opinions and i stick by mine though i understand completely why you regged it, i'm sure all of us have regged a domain 'as we just think it looks/sounds good'

Good Luck,
Ronnie
