Focus will be social networking of tv enthusiasts to discuss .tv developments with a view to increasing awareness of extension and allow ease of communication between members - not to compete with namepros which remains best general forum and marketplace.

It has been suggested from time to time to set up a dedicated tv forum somewhere other then namepros......but it has met with such time honored and logical responses like:

"There is already one.....on namepros"
"New people on namepros will not know it is available/."

I personally would be all for it, but it doesn't make sense right now to try and create another forum, when we already have great management here with eq. (His name is Ray, so he is automatically cool in my book)

Realistically, I have thought about doing something myself, but I just don't think the turnout would be worth it and I doubt anyone here would click on my google ads.....

On top of that, I doubt eq would be willing to be a mod for it, and I think other people aren't quite as balanced as he is for juggling all the quirky personalities.

So I would have to manage it, and quite frankly, I drink too much.

It isn't another forum. I don't see the need or attraction of another forum.
It's just Facebook - a place to hang out when you're not at Namepros. An easier way to keep in touch. A place to talk about things other than.tv - should you want to.
